How do we get to Sta. Cruz, Zambales by bus / public utility vehicle?

If you are coming from Metro Manila take

  • Victory Liner Bus  from Caloocan, Sampaloc, Cubao or Pasay Station. This is via Bataan-Olongapo-Zambales  route.   For the trip schedule and fare, visit the Victory Liner website.

Get the aircon bus with Sta Cruz, Zambales destination.

Aside for bus, another public utility vehicle transportation option is

  • UV Express from Olongapo up to Sta Cruz, Zambales. The fare is slightly cheaper than the aircon bus.

If you are coming from Baguio/Dagupan/Alaminos/Burgos, Pangasinan take

  • the Zamodca-Tsmpci / Mini-Bus fom  Alaminos City Station. This is via Infanta-Alaminos Road.

Get the aircon/ordinary bus with Sta Cruz, Zambales destination.

Aside for bus, another public utility vehicle transportation option is

  • Public Utility Jeepney from Alaminos City Station or Burgos, Pangasinan Public Market. This is also via Infanta-Alaminos Road.

 

How do we get to Sta Cruz, Zambales by private vehicle

To get to  Sta Cruz, Zambales by car if you are coming from Metro Manila

  • Take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) all the way to the Dau/Mabalacat exit then continue on to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).
  • The route through San Fenando, Pampanga is shorter but passes the town areas, and option is on using the SCTEX instead for speed and ease of travel. Travel the length of SCTEX to the Tipo Exit, pass through the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).
  • And from SBMA take the Kalaklan Gate  to Subic Town.
  • Take the national road all the way to Sta Cruz. You will pass by the towns of Castillejos, San Marcelino , San Narciso, San Felipe, Cabangan, Botolan, Iba, Palauig, Masinloc, Candelaria and before Sta Cruz.
  • Please note: take advantage of the shortcuts in Zambales particularly San Marcelino-San Narciso and Iba-Palauig National Highway and  Iba Govic Highway.

It’s about a five hour drive from Metro Manila.

If you are coming from Baguio City

  • take the Pangasinan-La Union Inter-Provincial Road, and when you reach the Western part of Pangasinan you will hit the city of Alaminos, towns like Mabini, Burgos, Dasol and the last town of the province which is Infanta, before Sta Cruz.

It’s about a four hour drive from Baguio City.

There are 3 airports you can choose from: Manila, Clark and Subic Bay.
